How Metals Can Change Our Home Interiors

It seems that 2015 home interior design trend will be looking like - home & metal


Although using metal in home interiors is not new, since it has been used from medieval times to modern times, this year metal will be a significant trend factor.

Nowadays, metal element touches are being used within wallpapers and flooring that add warmth, show richness or used to add light. Sharon Elalouf, interior designer, has used metal on the floors combined with marble. According to Sharon, it is common to use metal within  flats that have columns as it is a great way to cut them in cuts and create a new design to a room. 

Sharon advises to use wardrobes with no doors but wooden shelves that can be decorated with metal to create a decor. Other designers such as Decorum Est, uses partly metal floor combined with metals and limestone in a creation of luxurious tiles.

Metal furniture such as tables, chairs or even baths by designers such as Christopher Guy could be a great a finish touch in your living room or bathroom.
